TOto Loves Mammeee's Peanut Butter Honey biscuit!

Nowadays I don't use recipe anymore for TOto's biscuit, it's all ESTIMATION!
The dryer the dough, the better it is for Singapore weather.
So I just adjust the 'yoghurt' depending on the dough.

Anyway the recipe now is ...
1 cup flour (Whole wheat + Barley)
1/4 cup of Baby Oats
1 tbsp All Natural Honey
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/4 cup of All Natural Peanut Butter (or less)
A pinch of Salt.
1 tbsp Yoghurt (or more depending on dough)
110C 1 hour or more.

Doesn't matter what flour, just make it 1 cup.
Using a 1/4 tsp to shape his biscuit.
If the dough becomes too dry add more yoghurt, not ALOT more like half tbsp here and there to soften  the dough for easy roll out.
TOto making sure I doing everything RIGHT!
And hoping I drop a dough here and there ...
YA abit of the dough WON'T kill them!
Ready to bake ...

Waiting rather impatiently hahahaha ...
Last about 2 weeks and I start baking again ...

TOto's favorite Peanut Butter honey baby oats biscuit!

I had already tried baking a few batches of biscuit for TOto in Singapore and realized that the humidity in Singapore doesn't allows the biscuit to be too wet. The wetter version just gets mouldy in a few days, and its disgusting!! But luckily I have a successful version to use in Singapore! And it's just a few simple ingredients; Whole wheat flour, Oat flour, Baby Oats, Peanut Butter, Honey and egg!

I used a 1/4 spoon to individually mold out the biscuit shape, you can however do it anyway you like it! Another version that I like was to flatten everything and just cut/roll them with Pizza cutter.
These are some of the PREMIUM products that we add in his biscuits; and you know how much we LOVE HIM! I shared my PREMIUM RAW HONEY with him!
Luckily I was able to find a 100% Natural Peanut Butter in Singapore NTUC Finest. There is only ONE ingredient, which is PEANUTS!
The 2 type of flour that I used but I am going to omit Whole wheat and maybe tried out Barley flour next!

Terracotta Army Meatball Biscuits!

TOto loves the first batch of meatball biscuits!
He will catch the biscuits and throw it everywhere around the apartment for fun!
You see him running up and down, throwing the biscuits everywhere and rolling himself on the biscuit!

He has so much fun with just the biscuit alone!!

Healthy, yummmilicioussss treat ...
1 tsp of dough for the smaller ball, 2 tsp of dough for the bigger ball that I will use in Kong.

It is alot of work, but looking at his face makes everything WORTHWHILE!

Apple Carrot Meatball lookalike BISCUIT!

I did 2 batches this time round, the usual Flat biscuits and the Meatball lookalike Biscuit!
I wanted to shaped the biscuit into a round shape so that I can stuffed it into his Kong!

So here we go with the Basic Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Biscuits Recipe. I replaced the Main Ingredient Banana and Peanut butter with Apple and carrot! I also added Salmon Oil capsules and Garlic Oil capsules into the mixed. That is ON MY/YOUR OWN RISK!

Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 egg
1/3 cup carrot (or lesser)
1/2 cup chopped apples
2 teaspoon Honey
1/2 cup rolled Oats
2 TBSP Milk
Added 2 tsp of flaxseed
2 Salmon Oil Capsule
2 Garlic Oil Capsule
Add milk/water if the dough is too dry!
Chopped apples and my Salmon oil capsules & Garlic Oil Capsules. I must get a processor SOON!
Just add everything together, use your finger and mixed it up into a dough!
Mixture is very sticky because I added abit of MILK. The dough was a tad dry but after I added abit it become too wet.
300 Degrees Faraheit for 1hour. Hubs say they look like Ikea meatball, which result in him having cravings for meat ball! Apples and Carrot biscuit doesn't smell as aromatic as Peanut Butter and Banana. But I did another batch the next day!!
I bought this Locklock container for his Home baked treats!

One side for the usual flat bisuit! These peanut butter Biscuit smell so nice and it tasted good as well. I steal quite abit from TOto's biscuit Container for myself! Yeah, all ingredients are HUMAN grade!!!
The other side for his Vegetarian Meatball Biscuit, hahaha!
Hopefully this batch can last for another 2 weeks!

TOto ♥ my Home Baked Dog Biscuit!

A neighbour hear us speaking Mandarin to TOto and he exclaimed,
'TOto is billingual'!

We bought some Dog Biscuits for TOto recently, although it state as ALL NATURAL but the biscuit smelt so FLOURY. And I hate that smell! Unlike store bought biscuit, our own home-made biscuit smell nice! The Ratio of FLOUR to all other ingredient should be very high! Haha that why you cannot smelt other ingredient except 'FLOUR'!

Using the basic ingredient from Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Biscuits, this time round I added more ingredient; half apple, Carrot, 4 Salmon Oil capsule. Add abit of water if you cannot handle the dough or add more flour if the dough is too water. Dog biscuit unlike HUMAN biscuit has a HIGH TOLERANCE for error!
The apple are not chopped fine enough, hahaha.
The carrot, apple and banana are so OBVIOUS from the pictures!
But I have to bake Longer because of so much wet Ingredient used. I bake it @300 F for 30minutes and I flip and bake the bottom for another 10minutes @ 300F!
ALL natural, No perservatives, Salt or Sugar!
Hopefully this can last TOto for 2 weeks!
He ♥  it!

Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Biscuits with Step by Step Pictures!

Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Biscuits

Ingredients
1 egg
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup mashed banana 1 Mashed Banana
1 tablespoon honey 1 teaspoon Honey
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat germ (Rolled oats)
1 egg white, lightly beaten, for brushing (Step omitted)
Added 2 tsp of flaxseed

Directions
1.Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2.Stir together the egg, peanut butter, banana, and honey in a medium bowl; blend thoroughly. Stir in the flour and wheat germ; mix well. Turn dough out onto a floured board and roll to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes with a cookie cutter, place on prepared baking sheet, and brush tops with egg white.
3.Bake biscuits in preheated oven until dried and golden brown, about 30 minutes, depending on size. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.

Found this recipe online which is very close to what I have in my fridge!
Peanut Butter specially bought for TOto!

All mashed up and KNEAD until everything is one big lump!
Rolled flat, and this time round, I just place the dough on a pizza pan and start using a pizza cutter to ROLL cut the shaped. SO MUCH easier and I save SO MUCH time!! The last time, I used the tiny tiny cookie cutter till my finger swollen, and took up so much of my time, and I have to RE-roll the dough SO MANY TIMES!
2 minutes, all done and ready for the oven!

Easy!
Some parts are still connected but I just have to snapped it off!
This recipe calls for 1 cup of wheat flour, and is so much easier to manage than the previous recipe. And such recipes are fresh so the shelf life is shorter. So this recipe is more suitable for smaller dogs like Toto, they can snack and still be healthy and still can keep to their 'healthy' weight range!

1st time Peanut Butter Oatmeal flaxseed Dog biscuit!

There is one word that can get TOto's attention always immediately, and that word is 'Biscuit'! Especially useful when he is outside walking and do not want to go home!!

This is the first time I have done actual COOKIE baking. So it is all 'trial and error'! So armed with a basic pictorial recipe from Dog treat Kitchen, I got myself the ingredient and here it goes ...

I added 2 teaspoon of flaxseed and half of a 1/4 cup of canola oil. Toto is a ODD dog, he doesn't really like biscuit that is TOO HARD.

Revised Ingredients:
•2 cups whole wheat flour
•1 cup rolled oats
•1/3 cup peanut butter
•1 1/4 cups hot water milk
•2 teaspoons flaxseed
•Half of a 1/4 cup of canola oil

My cookie cutter is so small, it is ALOT of pressing to do!
But we do not want to Over feed or Over indulge in Toto!
My 123 Cookie cutter.
I would love to get cookie cutter in dog bone shaped but usually that shape is too big!
I threw away the first batch because it got burnt, so I have to tune down my oven's temperature but the 2nd batch look lovely. My dog biscuits looks like a batch of All natural Dog cookies that I purchase sometime ago from Farmer's market that TOto love so much! And that ain't cheap, especially things that are termed 'Home-baked'!
But overall these cookies are quite economical to prepare at home but it takes up alot of time and effort.

Toto LOVE it!
