A New Fan and new Collars!

Was out shopping and gotten this Vornado Flippi V6 Air Circulator Fan for TOto.

We saw that it was selling for USD19.90 online but was surprised to see that it was selling for USD14.99 instore. The corner we kept his crate is so well hidden, the area must be very warm; but now he has his own personal fan blowing DIRECTLY at him!

Only the best of our darling furboy ...
And accidentally, we saw these collars on CLEARANCE, only USD1.78!
Recently we only shopped for TOto ...

  1. Hi!!! Hope you remember us, your friends from the Lewisville dog park - Eddie and Amanda with westie George! We came across your amazing blog while searching for Westie paw infections (George has one). How is Toto? Hope you guys are great! We need to tell you guys about a great dog park with a lake off of George Bush turnpike. :-)

    1. Hi Amanda!
Of cse I rem I only know of one westie who can sneeze on command hahaha! We are staying in Allen now and doing well. We read of the new Gramercy dog park but because of the lake we are not sure whether we want to bring TOto because we can imagine it must be very muddy there! And TOto loves to ROLL on the ground!

How did George get the infection? Is it from a wound? TOto used to have a wounded paw, and we use to spray a antiseptic lotion and try to 'force' TOto to wear baby sock when he goes out for walks, to keep the wound clean; till the wound recover! We try to get those newborn baby socks and velcro to his paw, and it recover very fast!

  2. Yes - it is Grammercy Park! I didn't remember the name of it. It wasn't too muddy and they have a 'hose off' area. George was the only little dog swimming - he loves to swim so much. He was going to get a bath anyway, so we let him take a dive :)

A couple of weeks ago George stopped putting weight on his front paw and was licking it. We took him to the vet and he had to have surgery on June 1. The vet said there was something in his paw. When he got his bandage off on Sat, he had an infected sore on the top of his paw. He has been on antibiotics and steroids since June 1, so the infection should be gone, but it isn't. I should get a baby sock - great idea! He has to wear a cone around his head and it is making him really depressed. I feel so helpless!

We got back to the vet on sat to have his stitches removed (which look really good). If he still has the infected sore on Sat, I don't know what I will do! Maybe there is something in there like a grass seed, but I don't know. I just don't want him to have to go through another surgery. I get soooo nervous!

It is great you all are in Allen - glad you like it! We are in Richardson. There are so many big trees where we live and George is completely obsessed with squirrels now!

    1. Omg, that bad. I guess you have to keep the infected area clean and dry!

The salt water dipped sound like a good idea and natural but make sure to clean and dry them well!
