Daddy go work, GOODBYE

Today when Daddy is going to work, Toto is at Patio concentrating on a dog that is walking by. So Daddy has no chance to say bye bye face to face. And when Toto comes back into the bedroom to look for me, he started whining, and keep sniffing at the changing room.

He is LOOKING for daddy! I have to keep telling him Daddy go work, not at home. He is not convince, and I have to open the changing room to let him in to sniff one round. After that he sniff ALL THE WAY to the door and kept sniffing the air around the door.

NOT giving up, he goes back into the bedroom and sniff at the changing door AGAIN! I have to repeatedly tell him that his daddy has gone to work. Not giving up, he sat just outside the changing room door and waited!!

I have to crate him to settle him, and let him goes back to sleep.

Haiyo I almost want to call Daddy back to say Goodbye again!

My Cat, erm Dog big backside!!!

We removed his PEN, and now he has the habit of bringing all his toy to this area to play!

Erm, we have to throw this ..
And now all his play or bite is supervised. After awhile we will change the chew with Ice to soothe his gum. If not usually he will chew till all his gum is blue black and bleeding!!

Report card of Toto at home alone

A friend came visiting from Singapore, and for these period we are being force to leave Toto at home to fend for himself, the whole day! And for the 6days he did EXTREMELY well! And our friend came at bad timing, Toto was teething these few days.

I really got no heart to crate him or close him in the toilet or kitchen. So we risk giving him the WHOLE living room and kitchen area!!!

First day, we forgot to pull the chair of the dining table, proper, and TOTO manage to jumped onto the dining table and STEAL some french fries that we left over from lunch. This we blame ourselves, we didn't leave enough food and we shouldn't have left HUMAN food openly, PLUS maybe he was REALLY hungry. He didn't eat up ALL the fries, he stop when he is full! Of course he has ALOT of shit that day!

2nd day, Toto start snacking on YQ slipper, and one part of the rubber went missing! YQ went ballastic and kept searching for the missing rubber parts, luckily it was found. YQ had no faith in our Toto, I KNEW Toto wouldnt eat foreign objects. He started chewing because of his teeth and we really couldn't blame him. But then we didn't know he was teething until we see the chew up slipper and check on his teeth!

Poor thing the gum were all swollen, inflamed and bleeding ...

And last day he was left at home for the WHOLE day (12hours), we came home to a dog ON THE dining table again. He was biting on my neck pillow but then nothing is LOST. He might have JUST jump up, but the look on his face when we CAUGHT him is priceless, hahahaha ...

A few days later, we also find out that Toto has been chewing on a soft toy that we left above the sofa. And the Wooden Bat the bear is holding is shredded.

So this few days tat TOto is being left at home taught us what to 'PREPARE' for when YQ has to left him alone at home after I go back to Singapore!

But we were very proud of him, we are not worried about his PEE and POOP issue, they are all done right! Just the chewing part, but he was teething, I guess we couldn't really blame him. So we went out to get MORE chew stuffs for him!

The teeth grow out so fast, and another new tooth drop, and YQ manage to find it!

OMG, Toto knows that YQ is going to work and he didn't RUN UP to YQ or linger around the door today!

He is indeed a BIG boy already!!

Useful tips that we learn

One of the useful tip that I learn ....

When u tell your dog NOT to chew at your things, make sure you exchange for something that HE CAN chew.

When he stop chewing at your command, PRAISE him!

We use this tip and it work very well. Now Toto knows what is HIS and what is NOT his. So it doesn't matter where we keep our slipper or where I place my GUCCI bag. It is not his, he won't tamper with it. But be careful, once he start to chew on a particular things, and NOT STOP in time. It is hard to break that habit.

And NOW he knows where to look for his toy. And he has a mind of his own, sometimes, he wants a particular toy. He will wait till we find it and pass it to him. If not ALL of us have to start finding his MONKEY!

And as for now we trust him to roam around freely in the morning when we still want ONE or 2 hr sleep! But dog being dog, they still cannot be trusted 100%, hahaha. You never know when they BITE you back in your butt!

We escape, and He did a GOOD JOB!

We escaped to Target again.

And this time round, I convinced hubby to let LOOSE Toto in the house without crating or enclosing him in the Pen! When we left, I vaguely can hear Toto howling. Don't know whether it is him, but we left for about 3hours.

During the 3 hours, we are so nervous! We didn't know how he would perform without being crated. We didn't know whether we can trust him enough to Pee and Poop at the right place. We didn't know whether he will start to BITE or start to eat carpet! It was a TORTUROUS 3 hours! We would have gone longer but I remind YQ that we have to KEEP our promise with Toto, and when we tell him 10PM, we have to be back!! Hahahaha ...

But all these worries are unnecessary!

He did well, even went to PEE at the right place ...

No biting, no jumping up the sofa ...

We even forgotten to switch on the light for him, BAD BAD parents, hahaha!
