The point of No Return!

 Initially all the 'getting a puppy talk' was very frivolous, usually we chat about alot of things and really ALOT. Like how we want to tour the WORLD, drop his work and everything and just go tour Europe for half a year or we say we want to get a HUGE home with swimming pool and tennis court etc etc. We will chat nonsense and just indulge in our own world of BUBBLES and nonsenses! We actually ENJOY doing that! Hahaha we especially like the talk of "What we do if we strike TOTO (as in Lottery Toto)!"  Plus we have been talking about getting a puppy FOR MANY YEARS ALREADY!

And hence come the Bubble Talk of having a PET!

We were talking about how we want to train our dog to be a SUPER DOG! And what method we use to train him etc etc.

And then it leads to how to 'punish' the dog, and I say we get a metal chain to chain him to one corner of the kitchen! And guess what!! I started to TEAR UP thinking of chaining my puppy to a corner in the kitchen and then I started to CRY! I guess at that point, hubby realised that I have already attached REAL EMOTION (正感情) to the 'imaginery' Puppy we thought we are going to get!

And THAT is the POINT....

We got really serious in wanting to get a puppy ...

Choosing our puppy soon!

The Plan is to drive over to visit him during his 6th week to choose BUT then Connie from the Puppy Ranch called to inform that we will be choosing the puppy this coming weekend! And it totally MESS UP our plan because we will be driving back to Dallas in that weekend and we can POP by the ranch which is on our way back, but driving to Kansas from Denver will take about 10hour and the morale will be SO LOW if we have to drive ALL the way back to Denver!!

So we will be looking at the Pictures with description from Connie to choose the puppies! My heart is still On Mcduff but we shall see! From my hubby perspective, he feels that as long as the puppy is not the most submissive in the group, he be OK with any of it! Usually the most submissive of the group will have problems with training and socialisation! Anyway all of them LOOK ALIKE, hahaha!

Hubby always think that I am a bit of a witch, so if my heart is SET on Mcduff, there is a HIGH chance we be able to get him!!

Nugi Doggie toilet and More stuffs we getting!

Hubby has this particular Doggy toilet in mind and would not want any others! And this is MADE IN KOREA and we had a hard time trying to find it in USA, and Amazon.com is selling it at USD40.00! And we know that the cheapest we can get this in Singapore is SGD39.90 (USD30.00) and it is selling for approximately USD17.00 on Korea website!

So we head over to ebay and we were so lucky to win the bid, and total costing us USD25.00, SO LUCKY!!

The variety of TOY online are ENDLESS! We wanted something SAFE and Non-toxic and TIME consuming. So I restricted my hubby to only get 3 TOYS! He has shortlisted SO MANY TOYS, it was terrible! Hahaha, the dog is not yet here and we are getting so much ''useless' stuffs!

SO the CHOSEN 3 toys are; Kong Braided Monkey for tug and war, Omega Paw for kibbles for him to waste some time, and lastly KONG for him when we need to crate him and for him to bite!

The next 2 MAJOR damage to our bank would be a Play Pen and his crate!

Some pup's preparation ...

We got this pop up crate for Toto to crate him in the car or to go into area whereby we cannot bring him in visually! This is lighter than normal bag and it can be store FLAT so we can just leave it in the car and do not have to bring it up and down our home!

This crate pad are the first few stuffs we bought, just nice for the POP UP crate above!

Most important thing that we have to get, FOOD BOWL!

And for the adventurous dog we would need a lightweight food and drink carrier so that when he is out with us, he can eat in peace ...

Of course all of these are discounted items, we would see and buy as we go. Everything that is LABEL for PET use are MAD expensive. In the good old days, PETS are inexpensive toy to have around, nowadays PETS are LUXURY item! It is like owning a car! SO mad crazy! There are so much stuffs out there specializing for DOG USE! Now dogs toys are ELECTRONIC and INTELLIGENT!

Pups @ 3 Weeks!

In another 3 weeks we can go and visit them!

How cute right, from all the photographs we are already trying to guess each personality! And Mcduff is still my 最爱, because he looks 笨笨! But YQ wants a clever pup, I would prefer a stupid one!

Hahahaha ...

By the way, I think that Mcduff takes NICE photo!

The photographic crazies in me would love a good model right!

New updates from Connie!

They are about 2 weeks plus old and their eyes have just open!

We are going to get our puppy from this 4 boys here! Me and YQ has one common fellow in mind, that is MCDUFF! No reason but this is one of the choice that so co-incidentally match! Maximillion looks good but he seems like a ALPHA to me! And Alpha is definately too time-consuming for me! Cross finger, hopefully we can get MCDUFF!

We are so excited!!

But at this point of time Hubby is still asking me whether I REALLY want a puppy!

Confirm our Dog Crate! Suncast ...

I like this particular design best but initially we thought that this cannot be used for International Air travel. We were wrong. In actual fact IATA did not 'officially' approved any particular brand or model for Pet's crate. But the crate has to comply with the different airline's requirement. So we find out that this might comply with most airline requirement as well! The cheapest we find online is from Meijer.com but their shipping is very expensive! (USD27.99 + USD11.95 = USD39.94)
