TOto you are the "Smiliest Westie"!

We don't have a big yard, or a big pool, a big house or a big garden but still we have one of the happiest and smiliest Westie around. Most of the photographs of TOto are of him smiling at me. I am just glad that he is always this happy and worrifree ~

A recent series of TOto's everyday photo ...

Smile and be happy always!

Happy even at a gf house!
How not to love him?

A night out cycling, and TOto gives me a "Mammeee, you call me?"

Behind this Angelic smile is literally behind him, "Mammeee boing boing?"
"NOPE it's 1.30am!"

Happily waiting to run after the ball ...

Just happily enjoying daddeee attention!

Smiling even on a MIDNIGHT walk!
A bonus walk for him to poop ...

Still smiling even when he is being wipe down for his bed time!

How not to love this smiley furryboy!?

Into a Raw diet for almost 1.5 month ...

I realised that if I gave TOto a full part, he will just try to CRUNCH the meat/bone down in a few crunch and then tries to swallow everything; sometimes accidentally choking himself or 'almost' choking himself. A few times I managed to pull it out, hold it for him and then he tries to crunch it slower but if he is doing it by himself he will just crunch crunch crunch and SWALLOW!

So I tried to cut out the meat and then smash the bone, I think he ate better this way!!!
He actually ate slower, sometimes even being picky with the meat, most times picking out the heart and livers that he hate!

Duck meat, Chicken meat, Egg, Chicken liver, yohurt, Seameal

Well more work for me but I think, he gets to savour the meat slowly and then LASTLY chew the bone ...
NOW he refuses to have a part if its too big, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 'PAMPERED!'

So far he is done with his DUCK, reverting back to chicken for 1 week and maybe trying out PORK soon?

Sembawang Animal Quarantine Station Day 02 - Confirmed released 8/8

- A Video to be uploaded soon -
Last night at Changi Quarantine was considered to be 1st night, so today will be his 2nd day Quarantine but first night at Sembawang. We heard he was drove in this morning. When we arrived, he was ON TOP of his crate, and there was a patch of water/urine in the cubicle. There was 'poop' at the outdoor area too, and flies was hovering over it. It was a pathetic sight! TOto daren't even jump down to greet us, because the urine patch was right underneath him! We quickly get the uncle to help us clean the room up, I felt so sorry for TOto because TOto is a CLEAN FREAK!

Right after, we put down our bags, we quickly brought TOto out to the small dog run first ...

Of lightning and thunderstorm ...

@ almost 3 years, he still gets tummy upset whenever there is a storm ...
He is not scared of the lightning and thunder but then his tummy will starts to rumble and tumbler!
I have to feed him famotidine to help settled his tummy, if not he will refuse food again ...
Will this 'habit' ever break?
I wonder is it psychological for them?

Bye bye Auntie Shar ...

Auntie Shar is leaving, and TOto is at the airport to send her off ...
TOto doesn't seem too affected by her leaving, maybe because he was too distracted by all the new sounds and sights in the airport. But when we question TOto where is Shar Aunt, he looks confused and tried to thinkthink where he lost her.

Will he remember her if TOto meets her again?

Stranger in the house ...

The first few days my Gf is here, TOto always has this look on his face, "Why is SHE still here?" and kept checking her area out waiting right outside an area where we place her bed ...

And for the first few days we are walking home from the car, TOto will pause at the stairways, and give Gf this look, "Why is she still here?".

It is so funny!

And for the first night Gf is here; in the middle of  his sleep, TOto seems to have a nightmare, he suddenly woke up and charged running out to bark at Gf! Hahaha, I have to run out and pulled TOto back! Luckily Gf was too tired to react on her first night here. And for the next few nights, any noise or ruffles, TOto will go running out barking at her. Gf seems to be the 'source' of anything that is happening downstairs or outside! It is so funny how their little brain works! TOto just doesn't trust her at all ...
We were out shopping alot, and so TOto was in Zippy alot too!
After 3 days here, TOto still cannot accept her!
Look at how Gf is carryhing him, and TOto just want to RUN AWAY ...
He is rather grouchy for the first week!
And in my lap ALOT!

He just doesn't trust having a 'stranger' about ...
But after the first week, TOto suddenly request Gf to carry him!
We were ALL SHOCK!
He has finally accepted her as part of the pack ...
After that we realised TOto has kept a lookout for Gf too, and even play some fetch with her.
We were out shopping so much, TOto can finally lie down in the zippy while waiting but he still couldn't totally sleep in it. When zippy moves, he quickly sat up!
And by the 3rd week, she can hold his leashed and TOto can walk with her.

It's amazed how we slowly socialized him to a new person!
It takes some patience but we made it!
I wonder how TOto will react when she leaves ...
Will he be devastated?

CANNOT just RUN OUT ~

One of the proudest achievement we have with TOto;
TOto wouldn't just RUN Out once the main door is open!
He would definitely wait for BOTH of us to come out.
He wouldn't bulged, and only follow one of us, if he knows that BOTH of us will be going out with him. so if Daddeee has walked down and mammeee is still in the house, TOto will wait right outside the door.
TOto will loiter around the corridor until we give the OK command.
Then he will trotter down ...
And wait one level down for us ...
We used to hide away and he will have to come running up, so he will always look back for us.
Another level down, he will wait for the next command to continue.

Once Daddeee says 'STOP', he will usually sit and wait for us to give the next command.

Sometimes we will let him roam awhile, but sometimes we will hook him up.
TOto is already used to our unpredictability, so it doesn't matter to him whether he is unleashed or hooked up!

Maybe to some people this is 'NO BIG DEAL' but to me this IS A FREAKING BIG DEAL because I know of dogs whom just RAN out of the house and get knocked down OR dogs sneaking out and lost their way! SO when we had TOto, I told Daddeee this is something that is VERY IMPORTANT to me. We have to train TOto not to RUN out of the door at any chance he has!
After that TOto gets to enjoy a leisurely morning walk with Mammeee and Daddeee ~

TOto loves it when the both of us walks with him ...

TOto and breakfast!

This is TOto sitting beautifully waiting for his breakfast.

We never guess why he did that, he would sit a distance away in a very comfortable position looking intensely at me preparing his breakfast. The nearer he sat to the kitchen counter, the hungrier he is BUT he will never sit right at my feet. WE guess, the further away, the more he can see what I am doing on the kitchen counter.
His usual breakfast; 1/4cup of kibbles, a dash of Stella and chewy dried patty, a few scoop of Cottage cheese, his garlic pills and fish oil pills.
If I forget his Cottage Cheese, he will come forward to sniff and goes back to his original position to wait until I remember to top his 'precious' cottage cheese.
See how INTENSE he is, never turning away ...

Yeah he is very hungry today!
He came straight to the bowl without me 'inviting' him ...

After any meal, he would request for dessert ...
And this is TOto's new dessert!
This is how TOto request for his dessert with his pleading EYE's power!
And he knows he has to eat his biscuit on "mat mat".
But he very naughty, he is playing Cat and mouse with his treat!
He will play acting with the treat, tossing and running around with his it' for a few minutes.
He has to MAKE SURE his biscuit/treat is TOTALLY DEAD, before he gobble it down and ask for second, third and forth until mammeee shout, 'NO MORE'!
